OneGuide - MT Opticom, LLC Bozeman Channels not working

Hello,

I recently changed TV providers to MT Opticom. However, after setting up the OneGuide with the zip code and MT Opticom the channels the OneGuide shows are completely different from what is on the TV box. For example, OneGuide shows channels 4 and 5 but
the MT Opticom channels go from 2 to 6 (no 4 or 5).

Could this be that the guide that Xbox has is out of sync with what MT Opticom is using? Can this be updated?

Note: I just spent 45 minutes on the phone with Xbox One support and they suggested I post this message to this forum.

Anyone get oneguide working fir belltv? Ican get the feed but not the channel lineup? Any help or is this not available yet?

OneGuide in Germany (Telekom Entertain) not working?

Hi, unfortunately OneGuide channel listings are not currently available in Germany. The team is working hard to light this up for more regions.

I'm talking with MT Opticom (my TV Provider). They are not sure where OneGuide pulls the information from so they can make sure they have the correct channel lineup. They have been spoken to someone from MSFT about three months ago but never heard back.
They would like to fix this too but don't know who to contact or what list to update.

I have the same issue but my oneguide wont change the channel but when using the remote on xbox app I can type the channel number. The ir blaster works but oneguide needs update

I think the problem is that going to "OneGuide settings -> Troubleshooting -> Report a OneGuide Problem" and entering the channel and a correct number isn't really triggering a review because the channel number is already correct (because two numbers are
showing in OneGuide for that channel)!

The problem is that there are multiple listings for the channel in the OneGuide. For example, here in Richmond, the OneGuide shows ESPNHD on 252 and 850. The correct channel is 850. Channel number 252 is now a defunt channel in Richmond and has no programming
on it--the channel no longer exists. So I'm assuming that when the guide data was updated on Microsoft's servers the delete channels didn't get removed--only new ones were added or existing ones were updated. As such we now have two channel numbers for the
same channel in a lot of cases.

Having two numbers means voice commands don't work--it seems that the lowest channel number is chosen when there are duplicates ("xbox watch ESPN" pulls up 252, which is non-existent, instead of 850).

We here in Richmond simply need the defunct/dead channels removed from the OneGuide.

Reporting it through the console doesn't seem to be fixing this problem.

Hey Eviltwin,

You can also change the setting to only show HD or SD channels in the OneGuide. Go to Settings> TV & OneGuide settings> OneGuide> Show all HD and SD channels. That will remove any duplicate channels.

Theory of Game

On the right side of the OneGuide, there is a "Favorites" option - this will show the OneGuide with only the channels that you've marked as favorites. You can mix TV channels and app channels, so you get a personalized guide with only the channels you really
care about.
