OneGuide in Xbox App not working

I have the same issue but my oneguide wont change the channel but when using the remote on xbox app I can type the channel number. The ir blaster works but oneguide needs update

I've had this problem for a while now and ive tried everything I can think of to get One Guide working just like it used to in the Xbox App.

Firstly, OneGuide on the Xbox works perfectly fine. This issue I've got is restricted to just inside the xbox app.

The TV listings or anything at all does not show. In fact, it seems to think the xbox isn't even connected but it definitely is! I can use the remote as a controller and adjust the volume for my home theatre just fine!

I'm annoyed with this as I used to be able to easily access the TV guide on my phone and select a channel all from the app. Now i cant even get thw guide on!

I've tried completely clearing and removing the app from my phone as well as signing out and back in. Any ideas?

Try to delete the app and reinstall it. I have issues with the app myself but a good reboot usually helps. If you still have issues contact Xbox Support.

They have officially responded on reddit:

"OneGuide, including the guide, TV controls, and TV streaming, were removed from the Windows versions of the Xbox app. To use OneGuide on Windows, get the Xbox One SmartGlass app in the Windows Store. OneGuide is still part of the Xbox app on iOS and Android."
