Discus and support OneGuide can't be used while you're playing remotely (0x87e10004) in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; I found a guide on YouTube to stream a Nintendo switch to my computer then present that to OBS.     OneGuide can't be used while you're playing remotely (0x87e10004)


    I found a guide on YouTube to stream a Nintendo switch to my computer then present that to OBS. Seems like the Obtober 2020 update broke this functionality. Just wondering if there is a workaround to this or the only way to capture the Switch would be to get a true capture card.

    How do I use my cable box once my xbox is hooked up??

    You can use your cable box by changing channels with OneGuide, or you can use play/pause functionality by pressing "A" while watching Live TV.

    If you want to use your DVR remote, that will work fine as well.

    Hey Waarna!

    While we can't guarantee power off features are compatible with every TV or receiver, I do suggest giving the remote code
    1805 a shot. You can enter that in 'Device control' settings under the 'TV & Oneguide' settings group!

    Once you're on the 'Device control' screen, select 'Audio receiver' and then 'Enter audio receiver remote code'.

    Give that a shot and let me know how it goes!

    The media remote makes it easier to navigate the OneGuide, rather than using a controller. I only use my cable box remote to launch my TV recordings.

    It would be great to better understand what you're seeing so we can help. Are you in a region that doesn't yet support the OneGuide or are you having a problem bringing up the native guide of your cable/satellite/IPTV set top box using your set top box
    remote?

    Even without the OneGuide, some benefits to HDMI pass through are that you can quickly switch between games, apps and TV, snap TV next to games, and receive notifications (such as party invites and download complete notifications) while watching TV.

    I have the same issue but my oneguide wont change the channel but when using the remote on xbox app I can type the channel number. The ir blaster works but oneguide needs update
