Onecast (Mac) to stream Xbox One to Mac

I heard that there is a Mac - App named Onecast wich can stream the XBOX ONE to Apple Mac.

Will there be any problems, if I use it ? I unfortunately have no windows-pc. Will my console be banned or something ?

I just found out about
OneCast, that basically is the MacOS streaming equivalent for the Windows 10 App.

While you can't use the other Xbox App features like Party chat, social interaction and store purchases, the OneCast App for MacOS and iOS devices allows you to stream 1080p gameplay to your iMac or iOS device, and send control information back to the console.

So it basically works like the streaming for the Windows 10 Xbox App.

However, be aware, that it's not a free app. But it's much cheaper than having to buy a full Windows 10 OS. (Unless you still have an UNUSED Windows 7 or Windows 8 lying around, you can use these serial numbers to license a

free Windows 10 download for your Mac).

For example, don't:

Use unauthorized hardware or software

Exploit game vulnerabilities or glitches

Make unauthorized modifications to your account profile or its contents (e.g., tenure, Avatar, game saves, Gamerscore, achievements)

Intentionally play with someone who is using unauthorized software or methods

I suggest you see if there are any app or streaming sites to do this

If you look at my post above: There *IS* already an app to stream to a Mac and iOS devices called OneCast.

Don't wait for Microsoft.

There is already an app for MacOS and iOS called
OneCast. You can download it from the iTunes Store, and allows you to stream your Xbox One to your iOS or Mac device.

Onecast isnt directly affiliated with Microsoft or the Xbox brand. However I may still be able to help your issue.

In the Xbox settings there should be a section named “Devices & Streaming”. There you should see some checkboxes, press A on the one that says “Allow game streaming to other devices”

If that doesn’t work, make sure both your mac and the Xbox are on the same wifi network.

If none of these resolve your problem, consult the support for OneCast.

what are you trying to do with the 2 connected ?

I am really trying to get the xbox screen to show up but I don't know what to do.

In order to get a Xbox One display on your Mac, you'll have to do more than just plug some cables together.

You can't connect the Xbox HDMI cable to the computer, as the computer can't be used as an external display for another device (an exception would be Target Display Mode for Mac-to-Mac display).

If you want to stream the Xbox One game display to your Mac, you will have to install "OneCast" from here: https://onecast.me/

That software is a similar streaming client like the Xbox app for Windows 10.

After setting up the software, make sure the software finds the Xbox One on the network, and then play.
