We understand that you are looking for a way to connect your controller as the first player on a split-screen while gaming. Brandon Ross1, it really is important for us to get this worked on so you can get back to what you are doing. However, we found out that what you are doing is all good as it is stated in the support article of the game that you need to connect both controller and he second player or player 2 will need to log-in on their Xbox live account/guest account then to identify the second controller by pressing the menu when the game starts.
