: One X network issues when starting up

Thanks i will try. I am using a dlink network switch where one cable goes directly to the router. My cable and smart tv have no issues and they are connected to the network switch. Keep in my mind i also just purchased this one x used a couple weeks
ago. Had an original one hooked up before the x with no network issues. Could the used one x be faulty?

What is the model number of your D-Link switch?

Part from my prevoius post, also power cycle your router, along with the switch.

Make sure the Ethernet cable connected to your Xbox is not faulty. Try with a different cable and port on your switch.

Also if you can.. find out the password and login of your router and look up how to "port forward" your router also turn DMZ off in the router settings.

Hi i have a one x thats hard wired and every time i turn on my console it says im not connected to the internet. Says something about test multiplsyer connection. I have to either restart the console or unplug the ethernet cable and plug it in again
then go to test connection and it seems to work again. This is getting frustrating every time i turn on my xbox i have to do this. Any ideas? Thanks.

I suggest that you start by clearing your Xbox network settings to factory default.

Post up the make and model of your modem/router.

Is your console directly connected with your router?

If Instant-On power mode is currently enabled, then change to Energy-saving mode. Power cycle your xbox and let us know how that goes.
