One x fan pulsating blowing sound, is that normal?

Hi!

I have a half year old one x that i think it might be something wrong the way the fan regulate the speed.

Let me try to explane it:

In menu or if it goes very queit i cant hear it and it blows constant.

But i notice today that in game option menu or wheni play it blows like it pulsating, it blow maby 40% speed noice for a second then 10-15% for next two second if u know what i mean. So it goes up and down like a pulsating hearthbeat in different speed.
Sometimes u hear it almost reach 0 speed before it puls up again.

Is it how xbox one x just blows or is it something wrong here?

I searched on google and it’s like the swoosh sound people talking about, like a car engine that goes up and down in rpm in park gear.

Someone say its only in enhanched games, just tested batman arkham knight and the fan run smooth there constantly low noice, so if it was a failture on the fan it would acted up in desktop and in non enhanched games too?

In bo4 or division 2 it goes sometimes up and down in rpm constant pulsating.

Someone say microsoft said it should not be like that and some say they said it’s normal and their replacement model have been excactly the same.

My question is why do it not blow constant rpm, would not that make it run cooler? It dosnt give mutch noice anyway compared to a ps4 pro, but i just want to figure out if this is a issue or not. Machine runs fine it have 40c on top and 58c inside from back
mesured with a temp gun during metro exodus gameplay.

So what do you guys think?

First time i have had a pc/console with this fan blowing rpm changing so often, but it’s also the first machine that runs so quiet, u barly hear it compared to laptops or ps4/ps4 pro

I have noticed the same thing on mine. There is no constant time of this, so I haven't been able to determine what is the cause of this. Mine is a year and a half old. Last summer I noticed this once or twice but it was because I surrounded it with other
machines. Now is very hot. Maybe that is the reason?

same issue, pulsating fan noise. Although it's not a loud fan noise, it's a pulsating up and down noise that is more aggravating and seems more distracting than a louder stable fan noise.

As long as the air that is being exhausted is warm/hot air your okay. should only be worried if it is ramping up and blowing cold air out

Yes i have no problem at all with that the fans are running. But I think its strange that they change rpm up and down and up and down. Sounds a bit like someone is pressing and releasing the gaspedal of a car. Even though its not loud.
