One star reward for making purchase

As stated in the FAQ for that offer:

How does the MyVIP Star Boost work?

Select Xbox Live Rewards members can earn an extra Star for their 2017 MyVIP Star Rank by spending at least $100 before tax on qualifying MyVIP content in the Xbox Store or Microsoft Movies & TV. In order to qualify, you must be invited to participate.
Completion of your purchase(s) must be made between February 1, 2017 00:00 UTC and February 28, 2017 23:59 UTC. Please visit http://www.worldtimeserver.com or another world time database
to determine local time.

Since you have only made purchases in January, they were not eligible for that offer. If you have made a purchase recently, please keep in mind that it takes up to 96 hours for us to process a new purchase.

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

Since you have neither done any surveys or purchases since your registration date, you have not accrued any Credits. The Rewards program cannot make any Rewards for purchases or activity done outside of your registration into the program.

It says on the Microsoft rewards FAQ in most game purchases and your Xbox live subscription go towards rewards. just did the math and I've spent over $6,000 in the Xbox store, while some of these purchases may not be eligible you can't tell me that since
I've signed up receiving $38.05 of rewards is justified. Why would I not be a 1 star? That doesn't make sense. If this is the customer service I'll receive when I spend a lot for one individual customer on this company I will be finding another gaming platform.
There was no 1 star or any of that crap when I signed up in 2014 and to receive $38 of credits on 6k worth of purchase is ridiculous.

I've had an Xbox Live account for years. Can I earn Rewards for transactions made prior to signing up for Xbox Live Rewards?



You can only earn Rewards once you're an Xbox Live Rewards member. Once your membership is complete, we'll begin tracking your activity and rewarding you for things like completing missions, earning MyVIP Gems, or working towards your MyVIP Star Rank
by making purchases in the Xbox Store. For full details on the Rewards available, please see the Terms and Conditions.

Since you only became a member on September 9th, we can only Reward your activity since that date. You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at

Since your purchases have not completed any offers, and you do not yet have a MyVIP star, your purchases have not been awarded Credits.

Hi DDXDB. Xbox Live Rewards does not have a VIP Diamond level for members. We checked your purchases for MyVIP Star level and you currently do not have any qualifying purchases made in your Xbox Live Rewards region. We do see purchases made in a different
region, but that does not get calculated since it is outside of your Rewards region. To get progress, you'll need to either change your Rewards region, or make purchases in your Rewards region.
