One specific game not transferring over to my new console?

Kindly double check your transaction thru https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders to make sure that you're on the right account where the code was redeemed. Once confirmed, sign in to your account then go to "My games and apps" > Full Library > Owned games. You should be able to locate and install the game from there or try installing it remotely.

not likely, it is still console specific to my knowledge, otherwise my boys would have transfered over and they didnt.

I just got a new 250GB xbox and it was a bit of a pain to transfer all the files over without the Xbox File Transfer Kit. I recommend buying one of these if you can afford it, to make your life easier.

Without the kit, I had to do the following steps to transfer everything over;

1. Transfer licenses of all purchased games and add-ons.

2. Add all previously downloaded games and add-ons to my download queue.

3. Allow 2-3 hours for everything to download on the new console.

4. Copy all my saved games from the old console onto the cloud one at a time.

5. Copy all my saved games from the cloud onto the new console one at a time.

Took about 4 hours to do all this, what a massive pain.

When he got a new xbox he most likely did a license transfer. So all the games he bought on his console transferred over to his new console. Xbox arcade games only work on the console it was bought on or the one a license transfer was used on not both. So
to be able to play them on your console you would have to be signed into his account.

If the console was registered it was registered to a specific person. So I dont believe the warranty will transfer over
