    Hi guys, I need some help!

    Since the last update (27th of april) my One S has stopped reading discs.(But not at all!)

    At the first start up of the day the console doesnt read the discs, and it doesnt even eject them either. I have to do a FullShutdown via button (8s) then its fine. Im even able to change discs then etc, but If I leave it alone turned off for a while the whole process has to be done again to be able to play games or to watch a movies from discs.

    I've tried to:

    -Change to Instant On, there wasnt any change.

    -I did full power cycles several times, nothing.

    -Left the console unpowered for hours, nothing.

    -Plugged it directly into a wall outlet, nothing.

    -Tried to "slowly" instert the disc--> the finger method on the disc, nothing.

    -Basicly I use the console in Energy Saving mod.

    -Im not participating in any kind of beta FW, this was a simple update.



    Soo again in a nutshell:

    Its just getting in the disc then nothing its not starting to spin... and I cant even get out the disc with the eject button till I do a full shutdown.

    That cant be a hardware failure, its not enough random and I dont even had signs of smaller probs related to it in the past. The console is just 11-12 months old, I still have +1 year warranty but I dont want to miss it for weeks. Do u have any idea?

    If the game is in disc-form, try clearing Persistent Storage from the Settings > Blu-Ray section.

    @TheyCallMeBlitz; it was, disconnected temporarilly due to a change in my wifi password, but otherwise it was connected to the service.

    @squallyng05, I checked that link, the game doesn't show up there at the current time, however I did uninstall the game earlier thinking it might detected the disc and attempt to install the game again, but it was to no avail.
