    One S refuses to connect after updating


    After I got the insider update my console started having loading issues until it hard crashed about a day later. I've tried everything the site recommends and still nothing. I know it's not the internet because no other devices have had issues including a switch and ps4. Is it just me getting super unlucky or is this happening to others? Cause at this rate I'm just gonna port everything to my hard drive and do a factory reset

    Recently I bought Mortal Kombat 11 ultimate on disc.

    Since you have a disc drive, you have a One S.

    If you look at it, is it downloading an update? Try installing and refusing the update. Install the update after the game has installed by starting the game.

    Just an S a couple days after christmas. Wire connection and it will not recognize wired connection after initial setup update. Switched back in the old xbox one and it works fine. old xbox even connects wirelessly with no problems. took my S over a family
    members house and it connected no problem. I don't get it either.

    My wife uses a Xbox One S in offline mode. It has not been connected to the internet after the initial updates. She uses it to play a bunch of kart like racers. I have offered to connect it, but she does not want to deal with updates.
