One of my accounts has been stolen, is there anyway I can get it back?

So, I had another microsoft account that I used primarily for gaming and such, I made the account when I was pretty young so Idont think I had 2 factor authentication enabled. Around sometime last year the email associated with that account was hacked, leaving me to pick up the pieces of a bunch of other things these hackers got into. but I missed one, that microsoft account. I DID get an email about suspicious activity and even an email about them changing the email associated with the account and such, however I only found those emails about a week ago. i've been very busy with work so I didnt even notice there was anything wrong with my other microsoft/xbox account. now theres no way for me to log in, or change my password, or reclaim the account myself, it seems. I tried looking into the microsoft support website, but all the options were for people who found out about suspicious activity and nipped it in the bud early. I, however, did not. I believe it was 5 months ago that I got those emails about the suspicious activity. I also tried calling microsoft support but it just directed me back to the support website.

However, like i said before i do still have the emails, and specifically the one about the email information being changed on the account, INCLUDING the email it was changed to, is there any way i can get in contact with someone to help me reclaim my account from these hackers, provided i show these emails? please, this is my last resort.

Since the account was locked due to suspicious activity, the only best option to unlock your account is to submit a request via the account reinstatement form:

After submitting the form, you will receive the results within 24 - 48 hours.

After the reinstatement is successful, you can try to recover the account via the account recovery webform:

However, if that didn't work, as for last resort you need to contact Microsoft Xbox Support for further assistance with your account recovery:

sorry, i think i may have phrased it wrong, my account wasnt blocked due to suspicious activity, what happened was, i saw an email from 5 months ago notifying me about a log in attempt, one of those "if this wasn't you, take immediate action, but if it was, you can ignore this email" ones. however, since i only saw this email 5 months after it happened the account was already taken by this hacker. my main problem is that they've changed the security info for the account, changing the password AND email, so anytime i use my original email to try logging into that account, it says an account with this email doesnt exist. now i do have an email showing me what they changed the email to, but i dont know if they've changed any other security info. is there any way i can show someone at microsoft support the email i got so they can find the account and help me get it back? the original username was sonicdsx98000, and i believe i changed it at some point to N3XYLMA8O. if that helps.

The only alternative you have at this time is to submit the account recovery form:

Once the account has been migration to somewhere else, it can not go back i am reading, i am guessing why it is taking that long.

My account was stolen last Friday, and i was surprised to see a email saying i can get it back!

For all issues in regards to accounts being compromised or stolen you need to speak with phone support directly.

Visit the following page here, click
Billing and Memberships and under Account Management click
Account Compromised or Stolen and then finally click Request a Call.

Forum support agents, as well as Ambassadors are not able to help with an account that has been compromised.
