One live subscription two Xbox’s.

We have three accounts two kids and one adult we can can the kids B and C and the adult A. All three accounts are on both Xbox’s. We rarely use C and play multiplayer games with A and B but we feel it is wasting money to have three Xbox live subscriptions. So, we got rid of all live subscription ps except B’s because it is the secondary account we use for multiplayer games. We made our main Xbox a home Xbox and thought the subscription would work for everybody because B is the only account that uses our second Xbox and having B on our main Xbox would work for the family Xbox subscription sharing but it didn’t work.

If you are still having issues with sharing the subscription, you will need to get a subscription for the account that uses the second console.

You can only share the benefits of the subscription on the first console where you set it as the home Xbox.

You might want to check in the Services & Subscriptions an in your Microsoft account and see if you have two Xbox live subscriptions active. If so, then cancel one.

share the same Gold subscription on two consoles in the family. That way you don't have to buy a new subscription.

Sure. If you get access with the profile where you bought xbox live gold on any console you have you can use that xbox live gold. You can share with a friend also using "This is my xbox home", a function that permit you to use your subscriptions like
xbox live gold (only one subscription for two people and two consoles) using two consoles in the same time (also with the same game)
