One last attempt why cant i change email address?

the dummy email address the primary alias which in turn makes the desired email address the secondary. This allows you to remove the desired email address and add it to a different Microsoft account as an alias. This process is possible with third-party email
addresses such as @gmail.com or @yahoo.com, but it is not possible with Microsoft emails like @outlook or @live.com.

I can point you towards the online FAQ on how to change the email from your Microsoft account, so you wouldn't have to use an Xbox 360, you could use your PC for example.

However, it seems like what you want to do with your two email aliases which is to swap them, doesn't seem possible, because of the rules that Microsoft has set up. This is from their website,

• Aliases can't be moved from one Microsoft account to another.
• If you remove your alias from the account it’s on today, it will be deleted from our systems and isn't recoverable, so you'll no longer be able to use it to send or receive emails.
• Microsoft doesn't recycle aliases once they are deleted. This means it won't be available again as an alias or new account to you or anyone else at a later time.

I mean the only easier way would be to re name my gamertags but you guys want to charge me. So instead of swapping emails i would just re name my gamertag from gamertag2 so heres what i would do

swap user name gamertag1 on to gamertag2 and keep my desired email address. So what do you guys say? Will you give me a freebie? Come on. WHY else would i want to use Xbox? To play and buy games. Come on. Give me a freebie to change my Gamertag. Just once.

I can't access the email that is associated with the gamertag. I have the ganertag and email but i cant access the email. I want to change the email so I can reset the password. So any attempt to send a reset password to the email that I cant get into
wont work. Or maybe I'm not understanding which is why I would love to speak with someone. Thanks again.

How are you trying to change the email address? You can only change the primary email address associated with the account. You will need to add the new one first as a secondary account. Then switch it to the primary one.
