One email, Two Xbox Accounts. Can I Access Both?

So this is something that’s given me issues in the past and I’ve been having troubles with it now that I’ve upgraded to an Xbox Series X. On my Xbox One, I had 2 profiles under the same email and password. However, when I tried signing in on the Xbox App (as well as my new Series X) I am only able to access Account B (Account A was created beforehand and each time I attempt to login it just signs me into Account B). Is there some way I can change the email for Account B without also changing the information on account A? In the past I’ve tried changing the password for Account B and attempted to sign in with Account A’s password, but it wouldn’t let me in. Is there any way to fix this or is Account A inaccessible now?

Oh I see. I'm not sure how you managed to set up two accounts on one email. Except you were playing on the Xbox 360. However right now you can't access both accounts from one email.

Go to Xbox.com and sign in with the email, that will show you the gamertag attached to the account and that's the only one that can be used to play to my knowledge. The other one can't be transferred unfortunately.

Someone should feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm afraid there is no option to merge two accounts.

You can however change the primary email address for an account, so you can use the same account on both devices. But since you mentioned one no longer is accessible this could be an issue.

Do you have access to both accounts?

You need to have access to those two accounts to perform the steps. Please note that it is only applicable if your main email address is a 3rd party email address and is not a Microsoft email address. We cannot transfer a Microsoft email address from one account to another.

If that was 3rd party, you have to sign it in via https://account.microsoft.com/ > Your info > Edit account info. You have to add a new email address to free up your main email address so you can add it to your current Xbox account.

Fairly sure you have to do another email. I have it on both PC and Xbox one and had to make two different accounts for it.

The only option would be for your friend to make a new email address, and then you change the email address of your account, to his new one.

Your friend would then be able to put both his current and this new account on his Xbox console and set his console as "home" for both accounts,

Then he would have full access to the content from both accounts, usable by any account on his Xbox One...

If he was to play on another Xbox, he would only have access to the content for the account which he signed in to on that Xbox .
