Once I enter the credentials and password the account doesnt come up on the console. Like it accepts the email and password or even the phone number and password and continues but does not show my acclunt on the list of accounts on the console, therefore not allowing me to sign in and play

Hi Dustin, I’m Aileen, an Xbox Expert and fellow gamer. Just a quick note, this is a public community forum, so I can’t access your account directly, but I’ll help however I can.

If your console accepts your email and password but the account doesn't appear on the list or let you sign in, try these steps:

Restart your Xbox console, simple but often effective.

Go to Settings > Account > Remove accounts, and check if your account is listed there. If yes, remove it first.

Then try re-adding your account manually:

Go to Settings > Account > Add new

Enter the same credentials again

If it still doesn’t appear after that, there might be a temporary sync issue. Make sure your console is fully updated:

Settings > System > Updates

Also, double-check that the credentials you're entering are correct and that you're using the same Microsoft account you used previously.

Hi there - it's safe.

The first time you log in after applying the update, you will be prompted to enter your log in credentials. You can then set your console to "Remember password," which will flag your console as a trusted console, and you will not
have to enter your credentials again on the console until you remove the trusted console flag.

Hey there Thunder- When the screen comes up where you should enter the Parent Account credentials, the E-Mail part should already be filled in with the E-Mail of the parent account. (Alternatively, you could calls Xbox Customer Support and they may be able
to give you the E-Mail) But, once you have the parent account E-Mail, visit
https://accounts.live.com and from there, click on "Forgot Password" and try resetting the password that way

I am not even allowed to enter my credentials. They keyboard doesn't come up for me to enter anything. I have already done everything above, including doing a full factory reset.

I have reset the password multiple times but it doesnt seem to change anything (except the password). It still comes up with the same error.
