Once again I'm going to ask to remove quick resume

as I'm spending hundreds of dollars to figure out quick resume about 80% of the time is responsible for games not working. Now I've been told it's a core system. Well you should of left parties as a core system and not this garbage. How about we get it removed or ability to stop putting games into quick resume. If I have to remove it everytime I play a level this is going to get old quick. Not before you tell em to reinstall and everything else that's on my end , just check yourself and say I've done that. And here is what I found the only thing that changes it. Is removing the game from quick resume. And then hope it loads of it's doesn't , remove from quick resume which crashes the game and you reload , it then puts the game back into quick resume. So it's not as simple as removing because system will force it back. This is why your having issues 3rd party login having to keep logging in. Ofcourse it'll fail. Please have it removed. Core system can be removed just look at parties. So we know you can and to take over a year to do it. Is a bit much. You know you can stop games using it , you choose not too. So let have some seriously look at it. Not some BS excuse that it can't be removed because it's a core system. Can't believe I'm having this convo. That no one has actually been smart Enuff to work it out. But you won't as usual cause time and time again you've shown customers don't matter because it doesn't take years to fix stuff while still taking people money. Do better honestly.

As has been posted before, Phil Spencer has promised it will be looked into

But it may not be possible to remove it as it is tied into every aspect of the Xbox

I want it gone too, but I realize that it might not be practical

When you finish playing a game, hit start and go to "Quit" on the game tile. This will prevent it from entering QR

Regardless, in order to make sure whatever they might do doesn't break things, it will require many months of compatibility testing, and there will be no news on it until if an when the official Xbox channels make an announcement. We get news the same time you do

- To clarify, are you experiencing similar issues with other games?

- When this happens, are you able to open the Xbox guide or go back to the dashboard?

- Have you already tried removing the game from Quick Resume and then power cycling your console? you can see the games on Quick Resume by opening the Xbox guide and going to My Games & apps > Quick Resume. Pressing the "Menu" button on your controller while highlighting a game should open a menu with options to choose from.

You can try to remove games from the quick resume feature. To not use quick resume when on standby:

- Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

- Select System > Settings > Power & startup > Power mode & startup.

- Under Quick resume, toggle the setting to Off.

To remove games from the quick resume:

- First, click on the Xbox button on your Controller, then “My games & apps”.

- You will locate the list of games that are currently used in the feature Quick Resume.

- Head to the game with the quick resume saved states that you are looking to remove.

- In the highlighted game on your controller hit the Menu button (a small button with the 3 horizontal lines icon) to open up the pop-up menu.

- Now in your pop-up menu, click on “Remove from Quick Resume”.

If you want to submit a feedback for the Xbox team to remove the quick resume feature or to have an option to complete turn it off, please use the Feedback Hub app. It is currently the best choice available for us players. Here on the community forum we are only users. We do not work for Xbox.

Just pressing the Xbox button to bring up the guide does not quit the game. You also have to go to the game, then press the menu button on the controller, then select quit game.
