    There is a glitch with the "Add a Network" part of the Xbox Console. If your wifi doesn't show up on the scan or you have it hidden then you cannot go online because the system will only ask for the SSID name and then try to connect without putting in the password, it will not let you put in the password so it won't let you connect. You have to only find your network in scan then click on it then provide the password.

    So pretty much the "Add a Network" option does not work at all so I can't go online my Xbox.

    I have contacted Microsoft and they told me they can do nothing.

    It's a multi-billion dollar company but they can't fix the "Add a Network" feature on Xbox.

    To work around this I have been connecting to my cell phone to my internet via WiFi Hotspot but I don't always want to do that.

    I have contacted Xbox Support through the game console and all they told me to do was move my router closer to my Xbox or unhide my network.

    I guarantee you if you try to "Add a Network" on Xbox instead of connecting to your WiFi via the scan it will not work.

    I don't know when there will be a fix because they never told me there would be.

    Try it out for yourself and contact them yourself and let them know.
