    So, I’ve got an old projector that doesn’t support HDMI but does support VGA, I’ve got a VGA-HDMI adapter, but I dont know what kind of cord is used for the xbox AUX port. It looks similar to a USB port but it looks like a USB-AUX adapter wouldn’t work.
    What kind of cord does this port use?

    On Xbox 360 there is an aux port that doesn’t look like a normal aux port, and I need to know what kind of cord it uses.

    The port above the Ethernet port is for the Kinect sensor (with the orange line above it), the one in the circle is the optical port, for audio, and the big port above the HDMI is the proprietary connector that the Xbox 360 used. It came in multiple variations,
    with that connection at one end, and either component, composite, or a VGA cable at the other end. I don't know if you can still get those cables online brand new, but there should be plenty used ones online, and even third party cables too.

    For my old projector, I simply used a VGA to HDMI adaptor, so I could use my existing cables. That is probably the most easy solution for you too.

    There are several versions of the xbox 360; can you advise which one you have and perhaps upload a photo of the port in question?

    That port was used for plugging in the Kinect Sensor. I found no other use for it until I purchased the Kinect Sensor. Not to say that there isn't any other options for it, but I didn't need it to connect to a TV or even to connect my headset to the
    console.
