It's easier to rule out what it's NOT for a number of these cases. So I would recommend trying to swap that HDMI cable to another device and see if it does the same thing? Try a different HDMI cable with the Xbox. Might also want to try hooking something
else to the display with that HDMI cable as well as a different one to see if it behaves differently. That can help us identify if it's the HDMI port on the TV, the HDMI port on the Xbox, the HDMI cable itself, the display, or narrow it down to the console.
It's possible that it's the power converter. I've had to use a few when I was deployed to Iraq, and they can vary WILDLY in build quality and performance. You should also be able to check the light on the power supply when the display goes out to see if
that changes and possibly help identify if that's the issue.

if it was a power supply or power cable issue, I do assume that the console would just power off.

The first thing I would check is, is the HDMI cable properly connected, if that doesn't change anything then I would try to see what happens if you use a different HDMI cable or different TV.

That way you can try to determine what part could be causing the issue.

Not sure if this is related, but TV started to randomly freeze for me since the last update. Sometimes it will just give a black screen and do nothing. Sometimes if my Dish DVR is on pause and on the screen for 15 or so minutes, it will go black and eventually
kick me to the TV app logo on the home screen. If I go back into it, the screen is still black. sometimes hitting play will load the video after 5 - 10 seconds, i've had to power off and back on again to get working again a few times.

The problems I am having with the Xbox One is the Interface sometimes lags, so I have to restart my console to get rid of the lag, the gameplay however does not lag. Also sometimes the screen will go black for a few seconds and then go back to normal.
