Unfortunately, none of the proposed solution worked.

An additional information:

The Windows updater works and installs windows updates.

For past week Xbox App was showing error 0x80070426 but did start after few tries.

At some point Microsoft store stopped getting updates for all of the other apps, and when it showed available updates, It was unable to start downloading them.

After I uninstalled xbox app and Microsoft Gaming Services all the other updates started downloading and installing. Now after reinstalling the Xbox app and enabling gaming services, everything works apart from the Xbox app which shows error 0x80070424 and doesn't start.

Please restart your PC because a quick restart can resolve temporary glitches.

After rebooting, try launching the Xbox App again.

And then reset the Xbox App by opening Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.

Locate Xbox App, click the three dots (⋮), and select Advanced Options.

Scroll down and click Reset.

Next is to check for Windows updates. Go to Settings > Windows Update.

Install any pending updates and restart your PC.

Then repair or reinstall Gaming Services. To do this, open PowerShell as Administrator.

Run the command:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

After that, reinstall Gaming Services by running:

start-process "ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN"

Restart your PC and retry the Xbox App.

Reset Microsoft Store Cache because the Xbox App is linked to the Microsoft Store. Press Windows + R, type wsreset, and hit Enter.

Kindly check network connectivity afterwards. Make sure that your internet connection is stable. Test with a different network to rule out connectivity issues.

If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, please uninstall the Xbox App via Settings > Apps. Download and reinstall it from the Microsoft Store.

After updating
