    On my XBOX One S no one can hear me but I can hear everyone else. What should I do?


    So something is wrong with my xbox, whenever I am in a VC with others they can’t hear me, even though I can hear them, and the blue light that signifies I’m talking doesn’t show either. I have no idea what the issue is. I had originally crossed off the
    idea that it could be an issue with my account because all my settings are open to party chatting, but now I’m not sure because when I’m in a party alone the blue light around my name lights up when I talk but turns off the second I more people join. I don’t
    know if it’s an issue with the mic, the controller, the xbox, or my account. The headset I use is the official XBOX one headset and the XBOX recognizes it (it doesn’t say no recognizable device).

    If you start a party by yourself and watch your icon does the mic light up when you speak? Have you tried on a second controller?

    The next thing I would try is attempt to use the headset on a controller that you know is able to use a headset, another option I would try is updating your controller by connecting it to the console for 10 minutes via the usb cable, third option is to pair
    the controller again with the Xbox. Also you may go in to settings>kinect it will say use kinect for voice chat, try turning this off.
