On my PC it says set up my pin. How can I do that?

What PIN do you mean? The Windows log in one?

This is the Microsoft/Xbox forums, are you having issues with PlayStation? Have you tried to contact their support?

Followed instraction, nothing changed, made a new local administrator in my PC, still nothing happened. Used the PIN from my new administrator to log in Minecraft, said it was wrong so I guess it needs the PIN from the administrator I use, and I won't change where I play the game so I CAN play it.

So the problem consists, how do I set my windows hello PIN when it says it's currently unavailable OR how do just not use PIN to access the game. I know the PC password obviously, it won't let me use that as a choice

It's rediculous that I have to go through all this for a game I paid and played since 1.7. All this safety measures for what? Not letting a stranger play my minecraft but also not letting me either...

I created a new Microsoft account, and then bought the game for that account. I tried to change to a different local admin in my PC, but I was still unable to change the PIN, as it says that I can't set one up unless my email is associated with an organisation. I am able to log into the account on another PC, but still unable to on my PC unless I have the PIN. I've now guessed the PIN incorrectly too many times, and says that I can't try again unless I restart my device. I tried to restart my device, but says the same thing still without having tried yet.

I was able to sign out of my son's account in the Microsoft Store- thank you. When I try to sign in to Microsoft Store again with my account, I enter my username and password, but then I get a prompt saying "To easily and securely access apps with <my email address>, you need to set it up with Windows Hello Face, Fingerprint, or PIN. If you already have it set up, we will automatically add it for this account. You may be asked to re-verify with Windows Hello." When I select OK, it asks for my PIN. When I enter what I think is my PIN, it says "The PIN is incorrect. Try again." When I select "I forgot my PIN", it says "You can reset your PIN by going to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in Options." Where? On the laptop? In my Microsoft account? We are logged into the laptop on my son's account, not my account.
