On my headset I can hear the fortnite music but I can’t hear my friends and they can’t hear me.

Please, run the audio setup tool.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Volume & audio output.

Select the Audio setup option under Advanced.

Highlight the audio setup option you wish to use and then press the A button to begin the audio test.

To clarify, have you tried to use a different controller or a different headset?

Also, when was the last time that it worked just fine?

I have a similar problem except that my my cross-platform chat simply work work. They cant hear me, I can’t hear them. I got a new headset and the problem still wasn’t fixed. I can hear other XBox players but not PS4, PC or any of the other platforms for
Fortnite. All my settings are correct and I should be able to hear them. Maybe it’s just a Fortnite problem.

La entrada de los controles es de 3.5 lo cual te permite habilitar el micrófono, también podria ser una falta de actualización o que tu amigo te a silenciado sin querer.
