On demand TIme limits

Is there a way to set up time limits where my son has to request access to the Xbox or Windows 10 PC? right now I have to give him 30 mins and then after 30 mins, he can request more time. What I want is for him to have no time and then when he logs
on he can request access, and I can grant it after he is done with all his chores. Also is there a way to pause or stop the access to the Xbox?

i have the circle app and it will not stop my son from playing a game on the XBOX. all the ISP apps and routers do it stop my son from accessing the internet and or filter the internet. WIth Microsoft Family time limits, Microsoft will stop my son
from being able to play a Xbox Game at a certain time and or request more game time. I do not think the ISP apps or router can do that. If they can please let me know which one.

You can also set this up with most internet service providers now, if that helps with anything.

More precisely through your router or gateway setting, limits can be set for anything that connects to the internet through that device.

Many providers now give you the ability to control connections via an app on your mobile device.
