Oldest saves will load, latest ones won't...... HELP:(

Ever since KotOR, I've been playing RPGs with the 3 Save slots rule - each new save replaces the oldest, etc, etc so if there's any corruption on the latest save, the 2nd to last isn't that bad to jump back to.

Yeah the loading save crash has happened to me several times but isn't connected to the general crash. Clearing caches and reboots won't help, it appears to be just corrupt saves. It usually takes out my manual save and the latest autosave. Nothing seems
to solve the problem you just need to go back saves until one works. I just save more often and at least twice in a 15 min period before exiting the game.

it could be that your latest save has become corrupted.

if possible, try to load a previous save to see if you can continue from there. sometimes loading a previous save fixes this.

Did one and didn't help. Just got faster internet service and got my cloud saves back, but can only load 2 of them. Still after one loads and I walk a foot or more and hit save. Then try to load the new one, it won't load.

Could this be hardware issue or a level 285 issue.

Disconnect your Xbox from the network so it is offline.

Load Fallout

It should default to looking at your local save files. Load the latest one and you should hopefully see your save with latest progress.

Load up that save file and then reconnect to the Internet.

Then save you game again, you might see a version difference pop-up and make sure you select the option of using your local save as the primary and the cloud should get updated with that correct save.

You may need to load up a few of the save files to find the one you want as Fallout 4 creates multiple saves.

If the save isn't available locally, it is likely your progress is lost unfortunately.
