Old Xbox game causes humming

Hey, I'm trying to play Kingdom Under Fire the Crusaders on my Xbox 360 (I don't know what kind it is, it is kinect ready 250 gb memory with the sensor buttons as opposed to the older push buttons) but whenever I put the disc inside my system it makes
a really loud vibration. I haven't continued to try and play cause the noise doesn't sound healthy for my system. This is the only game that causes the rattling. Does anyone know the problem and how to fix it? Also the game is backwards compatible with the

HDD XBOX ONE

There are two version of hard disc drive for xbox one the old version and the hybrid version. The hybrid version makes less noise and is faster maybe this is what causes your friends to think differently of the humming noise you hear.

Again in my opinion that noise is quite normal.

 

System Problem ?

For a while now, my Xbox hums. It makes a constant humming sound for most newer games. some games that have been installed. So maybe when only the system reads or is reading the disc it is humming, is this normal?

 

The game is backwards compatible with the 360. It may be that your disc is slightly warped and causing a vibration in the drive while running. If it was a 360 game, I would suggest installing it to the hard drive to save wear and tear on the DVD drive. But
since it is an original Xbox game, this unfortunately is not an option. If you have an original Xbox, try it in there to see if it also makes a similar sound while the disc is spinning - then you would know it is the disc that is causing the issue.
