Old Xbox 360(new owner, same account)

Hi!

I have a big issue.I had an xbox 360 console that I sold 5-6 months ago, but when I sold it I didn't sign out of my account. Now, the new owner of the console has the same account as I do. My question is:how can I "disconnect" that console from my account?

You can find instructions on how to remove your profile here and then you may want to change the
password of the account.

Physical disc games will work with any account, old or new. If it's a digital game, it's tied to the account that purchased it forever and can only be played by that account, or any account that's using the same system as the owner.

Thank you for contacting the Xbox Support Forums! To better assist, please review the information below;

1) If you have not done so already, please clear your cache from your Xbox console. To do this, turn off your console then unplug the power cord for about 5 minutes. If this does not work, follow steps 2 and 3.

2) Were you a previous owner of an Xbox 360 console? If so, were you using the same gamertag that you're using now or are you using a new one for your Xbox Series S? If you're using a new gamertag but had an old account, you may have to transfer your Xbox 360 content to your new console. This also applies if you were a previous Xbox One owner. Please view the link below on how to follow this process;

Moving from Xbox 360 to Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S

3) If you still have access to an older Xbox 360 account that had a collection of your old Xbox 360 titles, you may need to login with that account, clear the local Xbox 360 saved games through your storage settings. This can be done on current gen consoles and does not require an Xbox 360 console to run this process.

When signed into another account, does it allow access to both the Xbox original and Xbox 360 Avatar?

yes, another account on the same Xbox was able to load both the new Xbox One and old Xbox 360 avatars with no problem.

would only be able to access them providing you had the correct licenses in place, as mentioned elsewhere in this thread.

However if you ever preformed a license transfer with your account, then it would be deactivated for the person you sold your old console to.
