Old gamertag is shown when playing on friend's server

If the gamertag was changed now, try waiting a little longer until it syncs.

But anyway, your old gamertag is shown in the same games, and your new gamertag appears in some games along with your old gamertag in your profile

Hi. No it isn't showing both at the same time. When I turn on xbox it shows my new gamertag. But whenever I go online it shows the old one. Playing mw3. Multilayer with my friends they are still seeing the old gamertag. When I log in to Microsoft online it shows my new gamertag.

I've cleared cache on the xbox. Deleted profile and added again and still not updating.

I've been having the same problem, when i got to server browser in Battlefeild 3 it says; user generated content is disabled, not all servers will be shown. And when i try to play Froge maps -in Halo: Reach- the me and my friends have made it says "User
generated content is not permitted". How do i enable user generated content. (If it helps: in not the parent account, and i have a Xbox Arcade)

Me either it actually made it worse, my old gamertag that I paid for is showing up still and it shows for all of my friends on friends list. And when I look at my account it says my old gamertag then my new gamertag below it but smaller.

At the time of changing the gamertag, the gamertag was available and still is available, (using Xbox friend Surch). It at the time said it added the numbers just to know system wise who i was not because it was taken. (It made sence because it gave me the same numbers that were apart of the old gamertag). If it was already taken then it would not have shown up as the changed name in game.

the main issue right now that i see no way to correct this issue that is on XBox's end without me chumping 20$
