Old Gamertag Achievment Recovery

Some years ago I went by another gamertag and my account was hacked to buy some goods so it was shutdown for a bit so Xbox could investigate. I've since taken a new gt and would like to know if it is and if so how to recover all of my achievements.

Basically, the reason why your awards are out of order and take longer to show after a gamertag recovery is because after gamertag recovery, the system pulls the data from online (xbox.com), and probably the award related achievements that are out of order
were get while you were offline, then if you have gotten the achievements offline it doesn't record the date and thus might be out of order when you recovered it.

Xbox vs Xbox 360

I prefer the xbox 360 the only problem tho was they broke down quick. But like the original xbox you cant get achievements on them . And I love achievement hunting Had to create a new gamertag where I had to start all over again tho as totally forgot all my info for old gamertag

If you know the email id and password for your old gamertag then you can log in, but it is not possible to transfer achievements from one account to another.

It's not possible to transfer achievements between accounts.

The achievement problems you speak of were related to day one DLC where you earned the achievements before xbox.com could recognize them thus forcing a gamertag recovery and having to re-earn the achievements but seeing as Skyrim has no day 1 dlc that may
include achievements there's nothing to worry about.

you don't lose anything by recovering your gamertag. i had the same problem. after the recovery i just restarting ep. 4 and the first achievement just popped.
