Old email cant change help

These @xboxlivefamily.com addresses can't be deleted, nor can any other email be assigned as primary. AFAIK Microsoft Support needs to get involved, and it has to get escalated.

It's a farce since they handed everyone these (currently entirely non-functional) email addresses for a few years. Now, you must fight them to change the email but keep the account.

Ok so you can change the email associated with your xbox account. The issue here for you is that you wont be able to confirm the email change from the old account since you cant access it.

yes the email isnt working because its like a year old and i stopped using it and now i cant get to xbox live to change it because the update wants the old ones password
