Old elite controller repairs?

I have a gen 1 elite controller.

It has been through a LOT.

The sides are peeling off, the left stick click doesn't work, the microUSB doesn't work, the D-pad gets hot, it uses a pair of batteries in two hours, and you have to press the button super hard to turn it on.

What do I do to get it repaired?

According to official Microsoft out of warranty repairs:

It seems that sadly they don't service Elite 1 Series controller if the one that you have is out of warranty

In this case the best option would be use a third party store to get service

Hi, it depends on which controller it is. Normally, the controller is simply replaced when stored, as it is cheaper than repairing your old one. The Elite Controller can be different

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have question on a repair. Unfortunately, Xbox controllers( not counting Elite controllers) only have a 90 day warranty. If the controller is 5 months old, then it would not be in warranty for a repair/replacement.

all devices regardless of company policy is 1 year warranty in the uk, microsoft have to repair under warranty
