Old digital downloads on inactive account?

I used to have a 360 some years back. I mostly play games on PC these days. But, my roommate has a 360. And, I remembered I had once bought fable to in these episode/installment deals. Given that it was a digital copy. If I were to put my profile onto his
xbox could I still download and play my old game purchase; Or would I have to get a new copy, being this far removed from when it was new?

You were given some bad information. The enforcement team does not monitor these forums any longer and you can't contact them directly. As for the old inactive gamer tag, you will not be able to use it until it is released by the system and some reports
say up to seven years after it went inactive.

Hello, I was directed by xbox support to post here to reach the Enforcement Team. I'm wondering if there is a way to get an old gamertag that has no gamerscore and has an original xbox gamerpicture? A majority of original gamertags appear to be inactive
for a long period of time and it would be so cool if people today could put those gamertags to good use! The account name I would LOVE to have is "stargaze".

 

If you're able to recover the profile, you can do a license transfer and re-download your content.

 

You'll be able to access and redownload the game for free by heading to your download history. On the console go to Settings>Accounts>Download History
