Ok so on the xbox app I cannot change the driver installation and resetting and repairing...

yeah, none of these will do literally none of the SEVEN solutions here solved my issed, i've got space, i just cant change the instalation on the xbox app to the D) driver.

this is all in portuguese, but it says "the selected folder is not in (c. select a folden in (C to continue"

i bought this HDD just to use gamepass on my notebook and i cant use it

May we know, which driver installation path are you referring to? Would you happen to mean the installation path that the Xbox App uses for downloading games?

I am happy to help and provide suggestions that will hopefully resolve your problem. Please try the steps I provided below and let me know if this fixed the issue.

Solution 1: Format Secondary drive

Formatting to NTFS is required for installing games on an external storage device that is connected to Windows PCs. If you are trying to install on an external drive, please make sure the hard drive is formatted correctly.

Solution 2: Set the default installation drive

1. Open Xbox app
   
2. On the top-right corner, click on your profile and select settings.
   
3. Click on General and then navigate to Change, where this app installs games by default.
   
4. select the drive you want to install your games
   

Solution 3: Set default download location in Windows Settings

1. Open Settings
   
2. Go to System > Storage > Change where new content is saved
   
3. Using the drop-down menus, please select the drive(s) where you would like your content to be saved by default
   

Solution 4: Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files.

If some Windows functions aren't working or Windows crashes, use the System File Checker to scan Windows and restore your files. Sometimes corrupted files can cause issues.


Solution 5: Reset Windows 10 store & Xbox app

1. Open Settings.

2. Go to Apps > Apps & features.

3. Look for Microsoft Store/Xbox App and click on the tile

4. Select Advanced Options

5. Next, click on the Reset button to reset Microsoft Store/Xbox App to the default setting.


Solution 6: Try reinstalling the Gaming Services package on your Windows 10 device:

1. Right-click the Start button in the lower-left corner of the main screen, and then select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
   
2. In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:
   
3. Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers
   

Solution 7: Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode

This error could also be attributed to issues with the Microsoft store not recognizing your entitlement to the game. Please read this article that dictates how to play games in Offline mode. Then, scroll down and click on the drop-down arrow and look at the steps for How to enable offline play on your device.

I understand that you are experiencing issues signing into Minecraft Launcher and the Xbox App.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please make sure that Windows and device drivers are up to date. For the Windows updates, open Settings > Update & Security (or Windows Update) and install any available updates. For your drivers, kindly update your graphics and audio drivers because an outdated or corrupted drivers can cause launch issues for gaming apps.

And then reset and repair the Minecraft Launcher and Xbox App. There are apps that offers a "Repair option" in Windows, choose Repair first before resorting to a full reset, if available.

To reset the apps, open Settings > Apps > Installed Apps. Locate the Minecraft Launcher and the Xbox App. Select each, then click on Advanced Options and choose Reset. This process clears cached data that might be interfering with the sign-in process.

Next is to verify and reinstall gaming services. To do this, open PowerShell as Administrator. Run the following command:

Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.GamingServices | Remove-AppxPackage -allusers

To reinstall gaming services, it will still be in PowerShell, run these command:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Kindly install the Xbox App from the Microsoft Store. After installation, restart your computer.
