Ok so I just got coms banned and I can't appeal it. But here is the kicker

Look at why I was banned... this isn't the first time I've been banned for What amounts to nothing. Yet here we are. Last week I got banned because I told someone if they get a bit better they can probably win against a boss. Now look at this. Worst part is that the game i play.. requires coms to even start it up

So not only did I read over this.

I also read over the Microsoft code of conduct.

And no. I'm not in breach.

Infact even if I was to directly ask players to join my personal discord. It is now a xbox supported app. Ontop of that it falls under the communication guidelines set for voip.

To top this off. I didn't link a discord simply stated we had one as that is a primary thing people look for in games like these.

And as a added note. The only thing I advertised was the very server we want to find a group of people to play with. And then state there is a very xbox supported app that allows us to talk to eachother.

That ruling seems incredibly unfair towards games whose multiplayer relies on various public servers, like Ark, or Conan Exiles, whose servers rely on constant traffic in order to even be worth running.

Also by that same logic, I could post an LFG for something like CoD or Overwatch saying along the lines of "come join me, I think I'm a good XYZ". Still technically advertising, except I'm just advertising myself instead of a server I might happen to frequently visit

I am sorry to know about what happened. Unfortunately, here in forum and even a Microsoft Support cannot assist us regarding Xbox enforcement actions or suspensions. It is because they're being handled by the Xbox Enforcement team who work offline. We could only reach out to them when we report a player or when we appeal or file a case review.
