Offline Use

How do I use my games offline. I cannot find the option under settings?

Using Fitness offline

sionetix - yes I suspect you are right.

The next day my connection was pausing again so I agree - you maybe could have the best bandwidth and still struggle.

It would be nice to talk to the genius who came up with streaming the same workouts over and over and over and see if they have ever heard of caching and why it is so useful in avoiding streaming issues?

 

Using Fitness offline

Up to yesterday, I had 25-30 mbps (maximum) through my ISP. I finally broke down and had them upgrade it to 50 (maximum).

Too early to call but it did make a difference to yesterday's workout. I suspect that my 25 mbps (shared by cell phones, a laptop, TVs etc.) wasn't enough for Fitness, despite Microsoft's claims. I'll check it out over the next month and report back but
my workout yesterday was super smooth for the first time in a long time.

The console can be used offline by going to Settings>Network>Network Settings>Go offline
for more info check out this article for
going offline.

If there are any digitally downloaded games, make sure that the account with desired games is set to home console. This can be done by going to
Settings>Personalization>My Home Xbox and then choosing
"Make this my home Xbox" Here's an article with more information:

What I'm trying to do is use some of my games on my Windows 10 laptop offline. Sorry, my question wasn't very specific. Thanks for your help.

You can play your games offline on your Windows 10 device, but you do need to be online first to designate your device as offline.
