Offline Update is messed up

So i wanna offline update my xbox series X

i thoroughly followed the instruction on the site

but when i plugged my NTFS formatted USB into my xbox it didn't get detected

under the offline update bottom was written "visit xbox.com/xboxone/offlineupdate" but i have an xbox series X

for the record, i did have the og xbox one before.

when i downloaded the OSU2 for the og xbox 1, my USB got detected but then it gave me this error code

"System Error:E101000005048B050041"

wth is going on?

I'm sorry to hear the offline update is not working as expected. May I know if you tried to copy the files to a different USB drive, or connecting the current USB to a different port?

Additionally, if you have a disc inserted in your console and other USB accessories connected, please make sure to disconnect and eject the disc.

Are you in insiders program ? If you are stop you will brick your console

First skip any update

Then remove the console fr insiders via a pc or the hub on the console

Then update using the regular update
