Offline play doesn't work with Outer Worlds.

So basically as long as you transfer your latest save to this other folder you should be able to load a save in offline mode? This is all their fault for not fixing this as we figured it out before they did, but that does sound like a work around. Thanks

That’s a real shame. And to be honest it probably isn’t a hard fix. They are so worried about pirating games that they hurt their core fan base with restrictions. This is why people trust steam more than epic or here. I chose microsoft to purposely avoid
the epic store. So far I have been disappointed. I hope microsoft officials reading this will work on a fix. I love playing a good single player experience while on the road or at work on standby, or traveling.

If you are a microsoft tech, here is the run down.

-People who bought the game both microsoft pass AND full retail are able to turn the game on offline per your instructions. HOWEVER, none of our local saves are available, even though they are literally on our hard drive. The saves in outer world’s appear
to be linked to microsoft cloud saves and it wont recognize local saves offline. This is not a issue with our computers or our software, it is a widely recognized problem for anyone on PC trying to play the game offline. There likely needs to be an update
or hotfix for this specific game. Thank you.

I am having an identical problem. It wont let me access my local saves when it says “no cloud saves” but does let me choose new game. I dont understand why I cant play my local saves offline. It shouldn’t be that complicated. Also, I purchased the full
60 dollar game and sometimes need to play offline. Please fix this as it clearly isn’t our computers.

Yep, I did that song and dance and I do have it through gamepass. The PC was connected to the internet earlier today. I don't see anywhere that Outer Worlds is excluded from working odfline, nor should it be as it doesn't have any online/multiplayer functionality.

Other games are working offline. This one just isn't seeing my local saves, and I can't find any way to manually point it to them.
