Offline download OUS1

I turned my xbox on and troubleshoot came up I decided to reset my factory settings nothing worked. Eventually I decided to google what to do. I downloaded OUS1 on a usb stick to try and download that to my xbox. Nothing happened and they it stated to
download but only goes up to about 20%-30% and then says something went wrong!?! Anyone have any suggestions or anyone else have the same issue?

When you download the OSU1 you must make sure that the file is unzipped as it is compress and also that the file is in the root directory for the USB stick, the console must be able to see the file.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you are having issues using the offline update on the console. We recommend following the guide for

offline update as different consoles use different files. If this doesn't work then you would most likely need a repair. Which you can go to

device support to register the console, check warranty, and set a repair up.

It sounds like you may have to try doing an Offline System Update, aka OSU1. Go to the webpage “I need help with system updates on my Xbox One” and click
on "I NEED TO UPDATE MY CONSOLE OFFLINE". Follow the step-by-step guide to do a complete system update. It's the closest thing to out-of-the-box new. Xbox Ambassador Scrtch has a very good YouTube video on how to do an OUS1 at Scratch Plays. Just search for
"Fix Xbox Stuck on Green Loading Screen". However, there still maybe one issue here. To start the OSU1 update, the Xbox One "Troubleshoot" screen needs to work, i.e. not frozen.

Really I didn't know that can download DLC while offline, but I know Xbox One can offline while downloading DLC. Can you give me tutorial how to download while offline on 360 console?.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with running an offline system update.

In regards to this matter, I would just like to make sure that the file was properly extracted and placed on the root of your USB drive.

If it is correctly configured, I would recommend that you perform a
power cycle first, and then bring up the Troubleshoot menu, and this will make it much easier to access this menu.

Can you confirm for us if the file was correctly extracted? You need to make sure that the file named "$SystemUpdate" is just sitting in the USB, and that nothing is currently on the USB.
