Official Xbox One controller fault - claim under warranty in the UK

Thanks for your help. The controller is an official Microsoft accessory, not third party. I think I have resolved the matter.

Following your link, I downloaded the standard warranty, which quotes 90 days for Xbox accessories - so the controller is still within warranty. I have today managed to order a replacement controller by using the Contact Us button and communicating with
the Virtual Agent.

Is the controller a third party controller or is it an 'actual/official' Xbox/Microsoft produced accessory? The details on accessory replacement from the Warranty and Service page is as follows: "

If you purchased an Xbox accessory within the last 30 days, you can return it to the retailer with your original proof of purchase.

If you purchased the accessory more than 30 days ago but within the accessory warranty period, you can order a replacement accessory from Device services (console registration is required). Follow the onscreen prompts to place
an order. "

If the controller was bought of Amazon you'd most likely have to check out Amazon's customer support and contact them over the stipulations on their warranty services in regards to faulty products being shipped to customers.

There're all under warranty but why do 3 controllers have the same fault?

Am I the only person having this problem or is it a common issue?

Do the replacements come with a new warranty or the balance of the original warranty? Eventually any replacement controllers won’t be under warranty if the fault is ongoing.

How do I use my console while waiting for new controllers as the old ones are required to be sent back first?

If your controller buttons are springy due to a hardware fault, bare in mind it is against the the Community Forum Terms of Service/Rules to discuss the physical repair of hardware.
