Official Xbox Australia Facebook Complaint

Hello Everyone,

I was directed here by the Australian Forum users. Xbox Australia hosted a competition earlier this year called the "Great Gamerscore Race" in which the gamer that scored the highest achievement points, won the competition. It was
a heavily promoted event on their page. Strangely, after a couple of weeks of 'tallying' the scores, they announced the wrong winner. The scores can be tallied up on trueachievements.com and verified that they are legit and earned while online. I think the
leaderboards they were looking at may have glitched out at one point. There were two gamers who earned higher (one of which, being my brother). Anyway, they show no interest in amending the results and are completely unapologetic about it. I tried reaching
out to them, and they either ignore me or reply assuming the persona of 'kronjob' (not the real MS employee) who is just as useful as being ignored. I just think it's bad for a PR company who's representing Xbox to create ill will amongst Xbox fans by failing
to address it. Can anyone please help with this?

No problem, you could try posting it here
forums.xbox.com/.../133.aspx That is the feed back section of xbox.com. Not too likely to get an official response on this page, the Australian xbox forum section died a long time ago.

 

Sorry but this sounds like it needs to be dealt with either through the Australian website as it is specific to that area.

Yeah I would probably contact Xbox Australia through facebook, perhaps look at their contact details and see if they have an email or contact number too.

Thank you for responding! I've tried contacting them through the Facebook page (where the comp was run) and calling them directly, but the company representing Xbox Australia (Soap Creative) just aren't interested in looking into the stats or amending the
mistake. I haven't been able to contact with any real Microsoft employees to address it.

Hey dude,

That is very strange, they should be the ones to help you as they are running the comp. Have you read through the T & C's of the comp? As that might contain the place to contact for any troubles?

Otherwise I'll have to leave this for one of the support crew, as I'm not sure where else to go sorry
