Official Mic thread: Post Gamertag if you use your mic

Does anyone use mics anymore? Xbox Live went down a few notches (fun factor), because it seems like no one talks... its like I'm playing with bots. No friendly trash talking, no strategic communications, not team works... nothing, :-(.

Figured I would make a thread and we can all list our Gamertags, add each other, and get some talkative games.

I play mostly FPS.

I like your idea, but to make a slight tweak. 'Meet me Online right now'

Could be at the top of the forum for direct use. Beneficial for Guests (in which usually leave websites within ten seconds) to see it initially so incase they don't register, they can see find gamertags.

People just Post their Handles, Location (GMT), game they are currently playing, mic or not, ect.

This could help start boosting the though of game nights too.

 

"Destiny" is a good game for this.

You can't play the Raids with randoms.

Forces people to make friends and communicate and play together.

I haven't made as many good new friends with a game like this since the original "Gears Of War" came out.

 

i dont use my mic in games intentionally mostly in gta when i get to excited lol

 

Lol some people get overly excited when they're on their mics and start yelling and screaming. Or you've got that one kid who has everything to say about your mother. And yes you can mute these people but after awhile it just kind of gets tiring. In FPS
games though it would be helpful if your pubs team didn't run in all different directions at once.

 

Ever since we got parties I rarely make new friends on Xbox. I'll add someone, play with them and talk for a few hours and then we just don't talk again Things have changed so much over time.

 

Lol it's weird I do the same thing, although there are times when I'll go to party chat to talk to people. Or the entire party will switch over so we can chat with the other people.
