Office 365 Promotion for XBOX Live Gold 1 Year Subscription

I purchased Office 356 Home Premium on September 27, 2013 to take advantage of the 1 Year promotional subscription to XBOX Live Gold. I haven't received an email confirmation or instructions on how to redeem this promotion.

Please let me know what steps I should take to resolve this issue.

Microsoft is tying Xbox Live to Office 365, but not in the USA

Microsoft is offering 12 months of Xbox Live Gold free with every annual Office 365 subscription. It seems they are really trying to establish the Xbox in the workplace and reenforce their presence on the cloud. You have until September 28th to register if you are considering Office 365. This offer is good in 38 countries, almost everywhere except the USA!

As this promotion was with office its windows marketplace you would need to contact.

Not trying to hijack this thread, but I'm experiencing a similar problem (trying to activate my 12-months gold membership after buying a year subscription to Office 365), though I bought the Office 365 subscription online and when trying to activate the
XBox Gold membership, the activation page says that it cannot activate since my country is not supported - which is WRONG: The promotion's 'terms and conditions' page explicitly notes my country as supported in this promotion...

Am I in the right place to ask for help about this issue? Or should I take it to the Office 365 forums? Or maybe to somewhere else?

I agree that there is room for improvement in the current family sharing system. My Idea would be a true "Home" sharing setup, where all Xboxes on the same home network could share 1 gold account. They could even limit that to maybe 1 gold account can
share with up to 4 Xboxes on the same local network. That would solve most family account issues, and still be controlled enough to limit the abuse of the program.

The other way they could handle it would be similar to how Microsoft runs Office 365. With my 365 account I can have up to 5 running instances of Office at once, and I can designate family members to share my 365 account with. If Live Gold used that same
system, then you could add your family to the account the same way. 365 is $99 a year, where Live Gold is $60, so maybe up the "family shared" version of Live Gold to $99 a year, where a single use account is still $60?

I would also like a Microsoft "Super" account that would give me Office 365, Xbox Gamepass, and Live Gold under one Subscription...
