Odd sound coming from Xbox One upon startup of certain games

When my xbox Starts up these games (fortnite, MKX on disc, and Smite) I can hear the fans on the xbox being to work harder, as if it's over heating. Is this a symptom of a potential problem that is going to occur?

No. I have the same games and do not hear the fans on my S but oxygen did on my day one Xbox.

I have noticed that sometimes when it spins up a disc it makes sounds like that but I have had no adverse effect because of it.

If you don’t already, make sure your console has good ventuallation from time to time, and use a lightly dampened cloth to wipe down the air intakes of any acumulated dust or particulates on the sides, and a completely dry cloth to do the same on the back
where the connectors are. Once a year I also use a can of compressed air to do a quick spray on the outside.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. The console's fans may be compensating for a rise in the internal temperature. If the console is making more noise than usual, it is possible that some hardware may need to be repaired. We cannot say for certain.

Could be your fan maybe? If it's that old could be covered in dust and grime. Without a disk in the disk drive the only other thing spinning is your HDD. HDD's normally dont make a roughed up sound even when they are going bad. So maybe fan?
