October update & now not powering on?

Hi there,

Last night I got the 'It's time for an update' screen on my Xbox so I accepted and the update commenced.

The 700 ish mb file downloaded fairly quickly then nothing happened for around an hour (knowing that I shouldn't interrupt an update I left it) it then turned itself off (I thought it was restarting as it has done in previous updates.

However, it didn't restart and now will not power on.

So far I've tried the Bind/eject method without success, I've tried disconnecting the power supply, again with no success and I've even removed and reinstalled all other cables (just in case something was amiss there?)

A couple of hours before I got the update screen the Xbox was working absolutely perfectly with no problems at all and in the three years I've had it I've never had any issues at all.

The power brick is currently showing a permanent orange light that does not change (to white)

If I press the X button on the front of the console I get a very quiet 'on tone' but it doesn't light up.

From looking at YouTube videos I'm suspecting my power brick has given up? I was just wondering if the update may have had anything to do with it as it was working perfectly before?

xbox one needs updating offline flash drive installs 100% but stops at applying update

xbox one installed update but stopped at 57% on installing now it when powering off wait of 60 sec and powering on it starts to install where it left off.
