October 2020 update issues froze on 72%

Hi all, don't give up on xbox, I came home today to find my xbox updating it was on 72% applying update and 86 on the other side (completed) I think . I waited and waited and realised no green load sections on the bottom screen, to my horror the electric
went in my house and when it came back on my xbox had froze on 72% tried all trouble shooting...... nothing, I'm now using my xbox heres what I did, power off then on and immediately hold sync button on side of xbox and hold eject till it enters a new screen
with different options, I picked reset but keep games, when it came back on it finished update and made me set up and check for updates to with it froze again so I hard reset and unplug for 30 seconds plug back in power on, enter login details and all good,
please don't despair we the xbox community are here for u I really hope this helps any one with the freeze on update October 9 2020, ill help if I can let me know if it works for you I don't no what I'd do
