    Hello everyone,

    I downloaded the Observer on Xbox thanks to Game Pass. However, when I load the game, it'll just go to black screen and then my Xbox turns off. Has anyone else encountered This? I tried both internal sand external drives. Any thoughts would be helpful.

    xbox one will not be sold without kinect

    The important thing to observe though Hedgehog, is whether or not their slag offs of the Xbox One impact in any way how much you enjoy it.

    Hello Crypt,

    Thanks for bringing the issue to the forums. We recommend uninstall and reinstall the game. Sometimes when a game installs it will get corrupt. Before you do that though just try
    Power cycling     the console.

    Hi Brad, sadly it did not work. I've tried it twice, moved it to other drive. It just goes to black screen and Xbox goes off. I saw another post on Reddit that another person was having the same issue.

    Hello SirCrypt!

    It appears that there is an attempt to launch Observer on the Xbox One console.

    We would suggest in this case to attempt a Soft Factory Reset by selecting:

    Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or
    apps. This will save you from downloading or reinstalling the large game files.

    This will also remove profiles, so be sure to have all information for signing into any/all accounts wanted back onto the console, as well as a backup internet connection, i.e. an Ethernet cord, hotspot connection.

    Try this out for us and let us know how this goes.

    An observation…and a rant

    I think playing as you like is more important than anything. With all that is going on here at home I don't spend nearly as much time as I did when I started out. I finish a map and then move on. Some things are just too hard for me to do on my own so I
    hang out till I find some helpful fun folks to run with. I'm slowly breaking into the "Rift" area and having a good time. I run away a lot and get real sneaky. It's fun to watch some of the hardier players get through some of the tasks. Then again watching
    them get whacked just lets me know I'm not ready yet. LOL!

    You mentioned earlier, having the right skill sets with the right weapons and that makes perfectly good sense to me. I still barely take out some of the higher level critters but the "battle engine" still needs a lot of work for me to like it much. It has
    no "feel" for me and I get confused mid battle some times. I look at the bad guys health bar and see mine, then all of a sudden I'm dead and that replay thing comes up. I just have to giggle because that doesn't really help me at all. LOL!

    I should have won but??? Who knows why it happens.
