    Notifications during video


    I like watching videos on my xbox, however I don't like notifications popping up when I'm watching something. Even though I have my settings set to turn off notifications during videos they still pop up during video apps like vrv and funimation. There
    must be a way to fix this without completely turning notifications off altogether I don't want to go back and forth every time I want to play a game or watch something. So how can I stop popups from ruining my video experience?

    New Update Broke Notification Settings

    I've just tested a few things.

    Notifications on. Don't show during videos. Still got notifications as you have.

    Notifications off. No notifications during video.

    Notifications on. Online status 'busy'. No notifications during video.

    You may just have to make some adjustments to other notifications. Are you getting messages or club info? What type of notifications are you getting? You may have to adjust those specifically.

    Try to RESTART CONSOLE, then try again, if still issue, try VRV APP and see if notifications still come up, if still do, try to watch on VRV on YOUTUBE and check again. Sometimes the console does not know there is a video running,

    Its mainly friends coming online but ALL of my notifications are set to hide banners during video.

    If they are still coming through on some apps the best you can do is shorten the duration of the notification to its minimum as well as change what notifications are being received (so that you receive fewer, maybe you are receiving some that you don't
    care about?). The only other option is turning them off completely when using those apps. You may also want to submit feedback to the developers who made those apps. You should find their contact info on the app's store page at the bottom.
