Notifications and invitations do not appear in the game bar

Notifications and invitations do not appear in the game bar. When I extend an invitation to a friend, he calmly accepts it and we can play in my saved game; however, when he extends an invitation to me.

This is an issue that can occur due to accounts not syncing with servers, many times they resolve on their own, or you can reset the console to reset settings: Press the Xbox button on the controller and select Reset console > Reset. If the issue persists, go to your phone and turn on notifications for your account from there: - You need to sign in to your account in the Xbox app.

- Next, you will select your profile photo and then Settings.

- In App Settings, select Notifications. You can also do it from your PC: If you have a Windows 11 system, follow these steps:

- Select Start and then Settings.

- Go to System > Notifications.

- Select Xbox, and then you can change and enable notifications and banners.

If you have a Windows 10 system, follow these steps: Select Start, and then select Settings > System > Design notifications and actions.

I think the party invite notification was removed and put on the Xbox Game bar instead, if you launch the game bar by pressing windows key and g, then goto settings - social, you should find an option to turn on notification for invites to party.

I do get notifications for Game Bar. My question is related to console companion. Will I receive game invites for console companion if I have game bar disabled?

Ok, this is simply being ignored. It is NOT to do with turning on or off the notifications. My notifications are ON and yet I do not recieve them from certain people. Game invites, messages, the lot... I leave the game and go to dashboard, and suddnely the
messages appear.... But when in game, neither messages or game invites appear.....

Sort it out!
