    After thought. Are your clips set to auto upload to xbox live? It will still show in recent captures.

    the game determines what is auto captured...usually it is because something great just happened...

    the auto captures from games are there and any clip you upload from upload studio.. the saved ones are not.. they are stored in your game DVR folder...

    Good point of 3.. or a comment per clip would be nice...

    the XBL gods determine what gets featured...

    the setting is 720p @ 30 FPS as an MP4 file

    Why can't I transfer my Xbox clips? Would you guys want this feature?

    The clips arent uploaded. I turned auto upload off. Im trying to transfer clips from "on this Xbox" in the captures

    not from xbox live, or I'd just easily DL them to my phone

    I see the option go set a hard drive as a capture location.. I just don't know how to transfer previous clips to said capture location

    Please stop advising people to reset there console for this issue. It doesn't resolve the problem with captures.

    Report it on the Xbox Live status page. There is a specific link provided to advise support of an outage.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Just a friendly reminder though that there are multiple reports in regards to the same issue, however, there is no official announcement yet.

    To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    If that didn't work performing an extended powercycle and resetting your network hardware will be the last resort.

    1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.
